If there’s a race that deserves the name “endurance trail”, this is it: the Tor des Géants. Over 205 miles for a positive height gain of 78,740 feet. Human Tecar, with its muscular anti-aging methodology, stimulation of microcirculation, rapid recovery of muscle tone and strength, antalgic and anti-inflammatory action, is ideal to meet the challenges of a competition that involves (1) endurance (not least, to lack of sleep: top participants only ever pause for few minutes at a time); (2) pain and inflammation of the tendons and joints, due to fatigue and conditions of terrain; (3) cellular aging (several research centers associate with Tor des Géants to conduct studies on the connection between endurance sports, aging and vascular elasticity).
Human Tecar Specialist Stefano Punzo is well aware of the fact: on Thursday, September 7, three days before the race, he coordinated a crew of physical therapists in support of Team Tecnica China. The athletes underwent a series of pre-competition therapy sessions with the Human Tecar MO, aimed at maximizing training, optimizing athletic performance and reducing the risk of injury. Stefano used a wide range of Human Tecar technologies: HCR, Human Tecar ViSS and Fast Recovery Bandages, as well as our proprioceptive Mats, both indoors and on the road. The Chinese athletes reported feeling lighter legs, less physical and mental fatigue – despite jet lag –, and a general sense of well-being.
