From ballet to soccer: Hiit Ballet prepares young players for the pitch

5 June, 2018 - Categories: Sport

Like all professional dancers, Jose Perez is well aware of the common ground  between ballet and soccer – namely, maximizing footwork to improve posture, coordination and agility. The training method he designed, Hiit Ballet, which makes use of Human Tecar’s high-tech, high-performance proprioceptive Mats, is proving its worth for athletes in one of the first gyms to have adopted Jose’s method: Omnia Fitness, in Frosinone.

Diego Monaldini, fitness instructor and athletic trainer to Frosinone Soccer Club’s youth team, has personally developed a training routine for his young players with Jose, aiming to maximize the beneficial effects of Hiit Ballet and Human Tecar Mats: the latter create different levels of instability, simulating various conditions of natural terrain and forcing the body to constantly readjust itself during proprioceptive exercise, fine-tuning athletic gesture and improving balance, coordination, concentration, muscle tone and strength.
