Jamaica’s Track & Field A-List in Lignano Sabbiadoro, en route to Rio

2 agosto, 2016 - Categoría: Deportes

Thirty-four top Caribbean athletes led by two-times Olympic Champion, three-times World Champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce (2008, 2012, 2013/100m and 2015/60m indoors): for the eleventh year in a row, the Kingston sprinters have picked the Friulian sea resort as their summer training camp.

Three weeks’ training and Human Tecar – especially crucial in view of the now imminent Olympics. “We’re ready to do our best in Rio, turning to good account all the hard work we’ve done in Lignano,” Shelly-Ann told the press.

Technical director and guru of the group is legendary track & field coach Vincent “Stephen” Francis, the man who chose to scout and nurture champions over a ‘quiet’ life as top manager (the man holds a BSc in management science and an MBA in finance). The amazing Francis is the one who’s picked us to flank Jamaica’s National team, an ongoing collaboration that began several years ago. When we say training camp, we actually mean training and racing and racing again: the Caribbeans took part in a local benefit meet, Meeting Sport Solidarietà, on July 13, then the Diamond League meet in Montecarlo on July 15, and the London event – Diamond League again – July 22 and 23: all of which right before the track & field events in Brazil, August 12-21; talk about a quiet life…

Hence Human Tecar treatment’s essential role in recovering from the stress of a busy race agenda and getting to Rio in ideal shape. We’ve worked side by side with Shelly-Ann day in, day out, as well as the other brilliant runners: Elaine Thompson, Shimayra Williams, Rusheen McDonald, Simoya Campbell, Julian Forte, Janette Russel, Shericka Jackson, Janieve Russell, Sparkle McKnight, Megan Simmonds... With an extra bit of help from our new-generation technology, Human Tecar Viss, the vibration sound system for the recovery of strength, balance, muscle tone and trophism. HT + Training Program = Golden Rule in maximizing performance. (That’s not all the gold we’re rooting for…)
