Peter Fill writes a new chapter in the history of alpine ski, winning the men’s downhill Word Cup title in St. Moritz and finishing 26 points ahead of Svindal.
In spite of an injury occurred before the race, he managed to complete the competition and ranked 10th with 462 points.
The 33-year-old athlete, after receiving the cup, cried tears of joy and jokingly said: “with this money I will pay may debts”.
