Racing towards the future of physical therapy: Human Tecar workshop in Maranello

Maranello – home of Ferrari – provided the unique venue for a Human Tecar workshop on March 8-9: the national sales team had the opportunity of meeting with Alessandro Biffi, MD, cardiologist and owner of Ferrari’s medical partner, Med-Ex. Dr Biffi recounted his experience with the Group’s Ferrari Wellbeing Project – aimed at maximizing employees’ health and fitness as well as their families’. The project is a brilliant example of how the most enlightened Italian companies are growing to view corporate welfare as a resource not only for employees, but for corporate efficiency, image and overall satisfaction.

The two-day encounter saw participants address the many challenges of today’s ever-evolving, increasingly competitive market.

A highly successful workshop whose discourse will be resumed at the Milan convention in November, “Physical Therapy Today and Tomorrow”. This promises to be an interesting forum for debate on the central role of contemporary physical therapy within medical disciplines, and will feature a wide variety of participants from the healthcare sector, from sports medicine to orthopedics, dentistry to corporate welfare and esthetic medicine.
