"In the beginning there was a box"
The idea of “Tecartherapy”, at that time, was something unimaginable. We had adopted an enigmatic device, a small box whose functions were shrouded in mystery. With the curiosity of those who look towards unexplored lands, we dedicated ourselves to the study of the physical principles that govern the electromagnetic field, focusing our attention on an unusually low frequency radio signal – a range of radio waves until then overlooked because they did not propagate in space.

The challenge was to use this specific frequency without stimulating the nerve fibers with an unwanted effect if it was too low, and at the same time, avoid the generation of surface heat, if the frequency was too high. Our ambition was clear: to benefit from this type of radio signal without causing pain or discomfort.
For the application on biological tissues, special electrodes were created, designed to interface delicately with the skin. The breakthrough came after a careful and meticulous period of research. From that point on, we were able to develop a practical and innovative methodology that we named Tecartherapy.
With our slogan, “Tecar Gain Without Pain”, we communicated the promise of benefit without pain.

Our story begins in 1983 with the development of an innovative first-generation device for skin revitalization, marking an important evolution in the field of professional aesthetics. This technological advancement captured the attention of the press, quickly leading to the birth of the first centers in Italy dedicated to the application of this revolutionary treatment technique capable of revitalizing tissues. Our continuous dedication to innovation has laid the foundation for standards of excellence in the industry, promoting advanced solutions for the well-being and beauty of the skin.
1990
THE ERA OF THE ORIGINAL TECARTHERAPY BEGINS.
In the 90s, we revolutionized physical therapy with our technology, transforming physical medicine and rehabilitation.
Separating the aesthetic activities from the medical ones, we have further specialized in physical therapy, integrating advanced manual techniques and aromatic products, for a complete and holistic approach.
In 1995, we created and internationally registered the brand “Tecar “gain without pain”, which quickly became famous thanks to the support of world-class athletes.
Implemented in large hospital centers, the Original Tecartherapy has demonstrated its effectiveness in various clinical contexts. Today, we continue to improve our techniques and products, ensuring patients effective and non-invasive solutions to reduce pain. The era of Tecartherapy represents a revolution in medicine and physiotherapy.
2000
THE HUMANTECAR METHOD IS BORN.
In 2000, the brand was renamed Humantecar, and the method was enriched with aromatic products and advanced manual techniques.
2018
FOURTH GENERATION, A REVOLUTIONARY PHYSIOTHERAPY.
Between 2013 and 2018, we developed a high-fidelity signal generator, derived from technologies used in the military field, which significantly improved the effectiveness of the instruments. We also introduced new electrodes for the specific treatment of soft tissues, which have become fundamental in the treatment of various pathologies.
The Original Tecartherapy has spread globally in clinics, hospitals, universities, sports federations, spas, thermal centers and retirement homes, significantly expanding its current use.
