Physiotherapy: the medicine of the future
Physiotherapy is emerging as a fundamental discipline in almost all areas of medicine and surgery, both preoperatively and postoperatively, with the aim of making each intervention more effective and the rehabilitation process quicker and faster. The traditional concept of leaving patients to rest for days is now obsolete. Today the imperative is to re-establish physical activity as quickly as possible.
Tecartherapy, thanks to its innovative operating principle, has revolutionized the field of manual physiotherapy, extending its applications well beyond traditional orthopedic pathologies. This advanced therapeutic approach has in fact allowed to greatly expand the horizons of rehabilitation, contributing significantly to the development of the most advanced physiotherapy.
One of the main advantages is the speed with which results are obtained, made possible by advances in sports and technological innovation. This speed not only accelerates recovery times, but makes the benefits accessible to an increasingly wider audience.
In summary,
The Original Tecartherapy represents a turning point in physiotherapy, offering new therapeutic opportunities and promoting exponential development thanks to its effectiveness and speed of action.
Rehabilitation, pain and inflammation
The Original Tecartherapy is effective in the early treatment of all acute and chronic non-surgical osteoarticular and muscular pathologies. Performed according to the tested protocols, the technique offers a series of advantages for the person assisted, starting from safety.
It is therefore possible to perform prolonged and repeated treatments, even in a single day. In this way, recovery times are further reduced.

It is indicated in the rehabilitation of pathologies that include:
musculoskeletal injuries such as contractures, strains and muscle elongations, acute and chronic tendinopathies, sprains, synovitis, bursitis, treatment of degenerative and inflammatory joint conditions (arthrosis and arthritis), inflammatory processes of the extremities and spine with painful symptoms and functional limitation (cervicalgia, dorsalgia, lumbago, brachialgia, lumbosciatica, hamstrings, etc.), treatment of functional overload injuries typical of sports and work activities (tennis elbow, jumper's knee, pitcher's shoulder, carpal tunnel syndrome, metatarsalgia, plantar fasciitis, etc.), treatment of DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness) that occurs following eccentric exercise or muscle fatigue, and treatment of conditions that require a facilitating action on muscle relaxation.
Furthermore, by applying a method that allows to exploit on one hand the mobilization of fluids following localized differences in temperature in the tissues and on the other the induced increase in tissue oxygenation, the technique is indicated in the physiotherapeutic treatment of superficial edemas from venous and lymphatic stasis. The trophic action of the localized increase in temperature, even in depth, is indicated in the treatment of peripheral vascular pathologies such as diabetic foot, varicose ulcers, decubitus ulcers, etc.
“The Humantecar method is a very effective technique in the rapid resolution of traumatic and functional overload pathologies, muscle-tendon and joint, frequently encountered in modern football. The method is easily applicable even in the locker room and allows for rapid recovery times.”
Piero Volpi, Head of the Knee Surgery and Sports Traumatology Unit, Humanitas Clinical Institute, IRCCS – Rozzano, Milan. Medical consultant for AIC (Italian Footballers’ Association).
Sports
The Original Tecartherapy intervenes, in addition to the treatment of acute and chronic osteoarticular pathologies, also in the recovery from excessive work overloads that can induce muscle pain, in the delay in healing of traumas, in sleep disorders, in the possible onset of intercurrent diseases due to the temporary decrease in immune defenses, in the impossibility of continuing training due to the inability to develop sufficient levels of strength, speed, resistance. It is particularly useful in what in sports language is called "overtraining syndrome" but which also finds its counterpart in the daily life of each individual whenever the body is asked to perform close to or above the limits of tiredness.
"This is now an established methodology in the world of sports at an international level. The fact of being able to correctly use a technique and an application method to shorten post-trauma recovery times was already a very important step, but managing the athlete, talking with the coach, the physiotherapist and the athletic trainer to intervene, for preventive purposes, through a complex but extremely intuitive method on his state of form and on the possibility of reducing the probability that certain functional overload traumas manifest themselves, has represented an even more crucial development in sports medicine and has allowed our work to be known and appreciated by great athletes, belonging to the major world teams, who have been able to draw extraordinary benefits from the use of the methodology."

Dermatofunctional physiotherapy
It is successfully used in anti-aging and post-plastic and aesthetic surgery treatments because the increase in blood flow, and therefore of oxygen and nutrients, determines a revitalization effect on the tissues, the increase in lymphatic drainage favors better control of postoperative edema and the induced temperature determines a reduced viscosity of the collagen with greater softness and elasticity of the skin and deep scars and a lower tendency of the tissues to postoperative retraction.
“We conducted a pilot study by subjecting a group of patients with post-surgical scars to Humantecar treatments. In all cases, we observed an acceleration of the scar maturation process, with a decrease in edema and softening of the newly formed connective tissue. In aesthetic medicine, we used Humantecar technology to treat sagging facial skin; in all cases, patients reported a local sensation of lightness and tension associated with a general state of well-being during the treatment, with the aim of improving elasticity after just the second session.”

Phlebolymphological pathologies
The Original Tecartherapy is a powerful, reliable technique that acts in depth, simultaneously on the different affected structures: it eliminates the stagnation of liquids in the lymphatic and blood capillaries, restores the elasticity and permeability of their walls, frees the interstitial tissue from edematous congestion by increasing the speed of blood flow in the microcirculation, re-establishes the temperature necessary for an efficient enzymatic metabolism of fats in the adipose cells by interrupting the fibrotic reaction of the subcutaneous tissue, improves the circulatory conditions and oxygenation of the compromised anatomical structures.
“At the San Giovanni Battista Hospital we use the Original Humantecar Tecartherapy on our patients, which we know well for its versatility and the therapeutic application possibilities in both Lipedema and Lymphedema.”
Sandro Michelini,
Professore
“In adult patients with chronic primary lymphedema, treatment with tecartherapy could represent a new therapeutic opportunity, potentially useful for improving tissue elasticity, reducing localized fibrosis, modifying the tissue sonohistological pattern and, presumably, stimulating lymphomotor activity.”

Pelvic floor dysfunction
The Original Tecartherapy proves to be very useful in the treatment of alterations in the bladder regulation mechanisms and pelvic floor muscle deficits. By intervening on the deep muscles through the stimulation of circulation and the neuromuscular system, it significantly contributes to the resolution of problems associated with the neurogenic bladder, urinary urgency and incontinence.
This approach, which treats pathologies in a functional and conservative way, allows to alleviate symptoms, reduce disability and prevent tissue alterations. Consequently, the Original Tecartherapy offers a fundamental improvement in the quality of life of patients, promoting an effective and lasting recovery.

Our treatments, with an effective curative and preventive action, are particularly indicated to address and alleviate both acute and chronic geriatric pathologies. They are also useful in improving the quality of life of patients affected by neurodegenerative pathologies, such as stroke and Parkinson's disease.
Thanks to our methodology, the motor skills of treated patients improve significantly. A notable increase in balance and coordination is observed, which contributes to greater stability and a reduction in the risk of falls.
“The Humantecar method is a very effective technique in the rapid resolution of traumatic and functional overload pathologies, muscle-tendon and joint, frequently encountered in modern football. The method is easily applicable even in the locker room and allows for rapid recovery times.”

Stress, sleep disturbances and feeling of fatigue
The consequences of a frenetic lifestyle are well documented and recognizable: our organism, subjected to continuous stress and high workloads and tension, manifests its discomfort through a series of disorders such as insomnia, persistent asthenia, torpor and lack of concentration. A possible answer to these problems, rapid, effective and long-lasting, is represented by the Original Tecartherapy approach.

From the first day of therapy, treated patients experience not only a significant improvement in their muscles and joints, but also a feeling of general well-being. Patients report feeling more relaxed, distended, full of new energy and vitality, as well as more focused. This overall state of improvement can contribute to an increase in psychophysical well-being, making patients “happier”.
The therapeutic approach uses advanced techniques of neuromuscular stimulation and circulation improvement, providing therapeutic support that is both immediate and long-lasting. These methodologies, supported by scientific evidence, offer a valid solution for disorders associated with a stressful lifestyle, proving to be a valuable resource for doctors and physiotherapists committed to improving the quality of life of their patients.
“After interrupting a training flight on a Eurofighter due to a severe cervical contracture, I underwent Humantecar treatment. The next day I was back in the air and able to perform high gravitational load maneuvers without problems. I believe it is an extraordinarily effective methodology, especially if used with a view to preparing for effort and managing high workloads and stress.”

Our interventions, aimed at improving motor quality, use advanced tools such as the Humantecar® MAT proprioceptive platforms, which allow patients to follow rehabilitation programs aimed at improving balance and walking stability. Furthermore, the use of the HCR 1002 device has been proven effective in increasing nutrient intake and promoting the removal of waste substances through the circulatory system, thus contributing to the reduction of pain and muscle spasticity.
Areas of application include disabilities, neurodegenerative diseases, athletic preparation at both competitive and amateur levels, muscle weakness, neuropathies, myopathies, acute and chronic osteoarticular and muscular diseases, muscle spasticity and pain syndromes.
This integrated and scientifically validated approach allows us to provide advanced therapeutic solutions, significantly improving the quality of life of patients affected by these conditions.
“I have always considered physiotherapy practices as a useful remedy to adopt when problems arise... Today I know that this is an absolutely limited way of seeing things... Humantecar has really shifted my horizons: I have discovered the indisputable advantages in greatly facilitating the recovery process in the post-workout period, which, for an "old man" like me, is truly fundamental... Thanks Humantecar...!!!”
Alex Zanardi, Athlete Two gold medals at the London 2012 Paralympics in the Time Trial and Road Race disciplines.
Muscle prevention and recovery
In physiotherapy, prevention means avoiding that even the smallest inflammation, contracture, muscle fatigue, stress can transform into an acute or chronic pathological form that is more difficult to treat with consequences that can affect the quality of daily life. The Original Humantecar Tecartherapy, thanks to the speed with which it is possible to eliminate even complex problems, has been adopted as a prevention technique not only in high-level professional sports but also in occupational medicine.
“We have been introducing the Original Humantecar Tecartherapy for several years now in the treatment of muscular and osteoarticular pathologies for the Ferrari Formula One Team. Often subjected to significant overloads, just think of the mechanics during the pitstop phases... and more generally to the 14-15 hours of continuous work that a GP requires for all the men of the team involved. The benefit has therefore been both to shorten recovery times and above all to intervene in prevention to avoid these disorders from recurring. We have therefore subsequently transferred these prevention techniques, through the Ferrari Wellbeing Project, to the company's employees with excellent results in terms of satisfaction and appreciation.”
Alessandro Biffi, Medical Director of the Ferrari Wellbeing Project.
“The Humantecar technique is very useful and is used regularly in our treatment center. The repeatability of the treatments, even in a single day, and the possibility of customizing the protocols, allows the person assisted to have a rapid general recovery.”
